How do you sync paid apps tied to your google account?

So you are saying you want to change the account that links your phone to the marketplace?

I thought you were saying you didn't have that account logged in oops. When I got my Droid they told me I HAD to create a new account for the phone because it wouldn't work with my old gmail account.

I'm in the same shoes as you. i had to reformat my phone and afterwards i put in my account. but i forgot that when i first originally bought the phone, the verizon rep that activated my phone made me create a new Google account that i NEVER used (she said i could always change it). This account had all my apps and half of my contacts. It took my forever to figure out what the password was so i can get them all back. I hated the email address the Verizon lady made me too! it was my name with a bunch of numbers at the end. Its annoying because now i have MY google account that i use and then there's the Crappy google account they made me that i never use, but i have to have them both in my Accounts in order to get my calendar, apps, contacts, etc...

i actually really HATE that about google. i wish there was a way to merge the accounts info/data/apps/whatever together so i can just use one address on my phone and not have to have two accounts. cause honestly, how professional is it to see an email from [email protected]

so, basically, you're S.O.L. Your main account has to be the original account they created.
