How does 4G compare to WIFI

I was raised in PA, moved to Florida and then moved here last year. All the food is an acquired taste (and regional / local). I can eat the coneys, but don't get the love for the chili. When family comes to visit I have them try it. It usually doesn't end well.

I also don't get the love for the ribs/BBQ. Much better in the south (Memphis - Rendezvous). Forget about finding good Mexican food here.

WiFi is what you have at home, so you're basically asking everyone to explain what speeds they have at home. I found that turning on "Best WiFi Performance" made it so that WiFi was instant, otherwise there is a bit of a lag but battery life suffers noticeably. On 4G in LA I get 25+ down, and about 13-18mbps up. My home internet is Time Warner RoadRunner Turbo which is about 32mbps down and 2.3mbps up.

My 4G runs 12-25 mb per second. My home WiFi is around 9-10. 4G is faster in my case.

Same here. except my home wifi is around 1-4 mbs/second.

When I'm outside NYC in the suburbs the 4g tends to slow down a little or switch to 3g but still usually faster than home wifi.

You have a time warner internet connection that is 32 mbps?

I'm pretty sure that isn't even possible. I'm pretty sure your speed tests are inaccurate.

everything is possible if you're willing to pay for it.

@op...3g is 1mb down and 300k up, 4g is 24mb down and 10mb up, wifi comcast cable is 20mb down and 4mb up.
