how is your flash player preformance

this may just be me but i have noticed that some videos i watch are very choppy and more like slideshows. i can help my phone out quite a bit by overclocking. I do not like to do because i tryed to watch an episode of the office off the live tv app and after i checked my cpu temp and it was 113 that seems like quite a high temp for being at stock speed.

will flash have an overall poor preformance when 2.2 official comes out because of the speed of the droid?

Flash performance will probably not increase when they release 2.2 because Adobe hasn't released an updated player in awhile. Once Adobe releases an update that has hardware acceleration, flash should fly on stock speed. And looking at your temp, that's about normal to have while overclocked.

Yeah, about the same either way. You might get a little cooler changing kernels.

I routinely hit temps in the 130's/140's in the desert sun. I'm operating under the theory that by the time battery or CPU implodes I'll be ready to upgrade, any way (though have about 6 months to go to an early one!).

Personally, if it does implode, I have no qualms claiming a warranty. My theory would be if the phone can't take the desert sun, then they probably shouldn't have made it black and recommended a black case!

I've had mediocre flash performance too when I'm doing stuff embeded in the browser like videos and games. (no surprise) but I do enjoy the small animations on different web pages. It makes me feel more like I'm on a desktop.
