How is your keyboard slider?

Lets get back on topic, eh? Name calling, cursing, heated debates, elitism, and extremist churlish ways will be the downfall of this forum.

Does pulling the protective plastic off the back of the screen affect the slideability?
Haven't pulled mine off yet, don't want to if it's gonna make my phone loose.

It's removable plastic. Means it's supposed to be removed. So your awesome $600 phone can be disabled by a piece of plastic that is meant to be removed and you're okay with that.

Amazing.....

I would say honestly, I'm not sure. I'm not sure how much contact the plastic and the outer material of inner-most side of the second half of the phone make.

I do however, noticed a easier lockage. I'm not sure if my mind "filled in the gaps", or if it was the removal of the plastic. You know how sometimes one's mind can give the illusion of something working, from pure desire?

To answer the question, I removed the plastic on my First Droid. That is why I have a second droid now. I still think some are worse than others but I wouldn't recommend removing it...

Thank you for the advice, I'll make sure to wait it out until the plastic falls off.
unless that's sarcasm, although it's kinda hard to detect on forums, so until I'm sure I'll leave the plastic on.

No sarcasm, I left this one on my new Droid and everything is fine. In the end it's your phone/money/time/etc.. My opinion is simply leave it alone...

The fact of the matter is, you can leave the plastic on, or take it off. The phone is meant for it to be off, but you can leave it on as well. Heck, there are even places making stickers for the back, to dress up your phone.

Pilot would you like for my to show you the many posts were I say the design is flawed, I have said this many times from long ago. I, unlike you, don't complain about it. I have a life and it's a phone. I seem to have answered the question at hand and you seemed to skip over it.

So you only complained long ago? Complaining about a flawed device long ago is okay but not now. Now is wrong. Long ago when you were first it was righteous.

I got mine the week they launched, and my keyboard is still locked into the screen unit tightly. I haven't noticed any loosening.

Whoops I didn't read what the thread had devolved into before I posted.

To clarify, I was answering the original topic, and I would consider myself a heavy user.

Do you guys think that if the slider gets really lose in like five months that moto would exchange that for a new one under warranty
