How many actually got the OTA?

I got my update about an hour ago. it took about 2 minutes for the update to load, Now my phone keeps switching from the droid "EYE" to the liquid like droid spelling. like when you first turn your phone on. Will not boot up at all. Getting kinda frustrated.

I actually got mine 4/1 at 11:59p, went kayaking all day yesterday so I didn't have time to check it out until this morning. It has worked flawlessly. Now to get it back customized to my liking.

Can't wait to see some of the rooted ROMs for this base version.

Got my OTA 2.1 update last night. Haven't noticed anything running slower than it did before, but haven't tested all my apps yet. Absolutely LOVE the new Google voice to text - works much more smoothly than the 3rd party app I tried before. I had to play around a bit with all the voice apps to hit on the right speed to talk, but now if I just talk at my normal speed, but enunciating a bit clearer than I usually do, it mostly recognizes what I'm saying.

I upgraded from a Palm Treo 700p about a month ago, after much agonizing over whether to go with a Palm Pre Plus or a Droid, and as far as I'm concerned, I made the right choice. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!!!!!

2.1 was waiting when I woke up this morning. Installed w/o issues.

Now to wait for on update that gives me the same bluetooth voice dialing capabilities that previous Motorola phones had. I doon't understand why the step backwards. Otherwise love my DROID.

I got it 1:00 am. Wish it also had flash. And support for storing apps on memory card. Oh well. Multi touch, live wallpapers, and integrated Picasa support is super smooth. Worth the wait so far.

Mine was waiting for me at 0530 when I woke up to go to work. Biggest thing I noticed was better reception at my house which has always been poor with Verizon.

I got the update at about 1:40AM driving home from the cleveland cavs game this morning. I was saddened not to see more home screens like rumors led me to believe. Guess we all have to make due with just 3 for now...

I had the update waiting Tuesday morning(at least I think it was Tuesday). I bought my Droid on Ebay with a bad ESN and had it flashed for Cricket.:icon_ banana:

My Droid is rebooting right now after installing the official OTA!

Finally got it.

Around 2am EST, I clicked menu>settings>about phone>system updates, just for giggles and it said the update was available.

Bought my Droid around Nov. 29, 2009. Was rooted, running Bugless Beast, went back to stock a few weeks ago (actually bounced between stock and rooted a few times in the last couple months).

Now, I'll be interested to see if my cousin/roommate who got his Droid the same day (we're on the same plan) has the update when he wakes up in the morning...I had also rooted his phone, but took it back to stock for him the last time they promised and didn't deliver...when was that...at least a month or two ago...

Booted up just fine. Tested pinch-to-zoom in the browser. Works just like the last version of BB I ran. Going to bed now, but happy to not have that to look for anymore! Haha!
