How much Blur is really on the Razr?

Take it from a guy who could not handle Moto Blur and manufacturer UI's a year ago. Moto's UI on the RAZR is stellar. Its fantastic. I feel no need to flash ROMS and themes because its so well done. Not to mention it is butter smooth. Right on par with the SGSII which says a lot.

Manufacturers UI's have surpassed vanilla Android in smoothness and looks in my honest opinion.

Never thought I'd be typing that but I'm loving what Motorola did. Blur? What Blur? :) seriously don't even notice it.

Agreed the updated blur on the razr is world's above what that crap was on the dx. Much improved over older blur models.

Yes old blur is total crap, and "New" Gingerblur on last model's phones is still garbage.

I've played with a RAZR and was really, truly impressed with the smoothness. I have to say that indeed it isn't just because of the next-gen specs, but because Moto seems to have done a great job of tidying up their inefficient crap.

I agree with this. I thought about rooting and all that, but after a few hours of messing around with it I found no reason to. The Blur is there, but in such a way that you really don't notice. It's a perfect combo with the androidOS that I never thought I would never see. Based on what I have seen so far with this phone I think with the improvements through updates and the addition of ICS, the RAZR is going to make the people that bashed it when it first came out think twice about this phone.

I have a droid 2 global that had moto blur on it and moto blur slowed ty's phone down, flashed a custom rom and my droid 2 global, and in my opinion they must add alot, I am running apex now and it is pretty much vanilla and fast as hell, when the razr gets ics it will be skinned with moto blur, just like froyo and gingerbread with other Motorola phones, moto blur kills the uuser experience.

Please tell me what Blur changes are on the Razr. I can't tell like the older Moto phones.

I wouldn't say the new blur is total garbage I still prefer sense ui over it.. But the new blur is a huge improvement over the older one we all can agree on that

I find that the RAZR/BIONIC skin is minimal and adds a nice touch with resizeable widgets, quasi 3D rotation and home preview. Some of these are in ICS and so far super smooth and lag free. The only other thing I would add is pinch to preview and increased home screen count thats user customizeable.

Anyone port the Gmail ICS/Honeycomb widget to GB yet?
