How to disable factory text messaging?

Anyone know how to disable the text messaging system that comes with your Droid. I'm using Handcent now, no need to have 2 different notifications popping up.

Just showed someone else how to do this last week.

Just go into the default messaging app and turn off notifications. Granted, that won't prevent texts from going to that app, but you won't be notified of them. Then, of course, you'll want to set Handcent as your default text app.
