Hello,
Is it possible to specifically prevent Google from automatically backing up and restoring your apps? I want to go to a new ROM and start fresh with apps, but I notice that Google (slowly) puts back all your apps after a new install. I know I can disable sync all together, but I still want it to sync contacts and other stuff. Any suggestions?

Also, anyone hear anything about when Verizon will roll out the official 2.2 update for Droids?
