i use Estrongs but in Estrongs you hit the menu soft key, and then new, new file, name it .nomedia.

Thank you for bringing this up. You just saved me from an argument with the Mrs.

Try just adding a period in front of your file name. So if you have MovieFile.mp4 then renaming to .MovieFiles.mp4 will turn it into hidden files. To access the hidden files, your can use file explorer programs. If using Astro, go in the settings to allow hidden file viewing.

could someone type out instructions in laymans terms on how to get the album art out of the gallery. I tried the .nomedia text file thing and that didn't work. I tried placing a "." infront of all the files in the albumthumbs file and that didn't work.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what but I think some simple step by step instructions would really help.
