How to hide completed tasks

Hello -- wondering if anyone can point me to the setting where I can hide my completed tasks on the Galaxy S3. I use the Task functionality within the calendar -- so my task list is just like another calendar. But all of my completed tasks appear -- I'd like them to be hidden. I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

you can delete completed tasks, but not hide them. while it's nice to have the tasks in your calendar, for this reason and a few others, I find the android calendar tasks implementation to be kind of flaky (i'm syncing with an activesync account).

the standalone tasks and notes app works pretty well. and lets you hide completed tasks.
