How to manage apps in ICS

hey im sure this will be an easy question but I have wasted a day or so trying to figure it out myself, when you set a launcher or any app as a default, how do you change it?

When I get the dialog box to check a default launcher for example, it tells me i can clear these in the "settings> applications >settings" but I dont see this in ICS.

So where is the "manage applications" in ICS?

You're supposed to go to the app that is set as default.

So for example you'd go to Settings > Applications > Browser (the app) scroll down a bit and click clear defaults.
