There are many emulators available for Android devices which play Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis games with ease. Our devices are 10 times more powerful than the consoles of our youth, but even so emulating old hardware can be a pain. I have tried a few Nintendo 64 emulators which have worked well on PC, but the Android counterparts have been quite buggy and crash enough to make them unusable. Play! is an emulator which has decided to tackle emulation of PlayStation 2 games. This is an early build, and as could be expected the experience is still pretty laggy, text is not clear, and there are some pretty lengthy load times. Pretty mindboggling that we can run these games on our phones nowadays once you pause for a minute and really think about it.
