How to remove location services icon??

I've never had the location services icon show up on my status bar but it started today. I made sure i turned off everything except ofcourse the 911 cause you can't but the icon its still there...I have a thunderbolt just in case u need to know.

You mean the GPS icon? You need to figure out what's using it and address it. What's currently running on your device? Are you on a location-enabled web page in your browser?
