How's everyone liking Nougat?

So I assume signal refresh still doesn't work on N for the Turbo 2? I have to use the hotspot work around to tether and cannot update if that method does not work anymore.

Believe it or not, not everybody has easy or convenient access to a WiFi connection. Lol.

You don't have a McDonalds?
McDonald's: Burgers, Fries & More. Quality Ingredients.
Panera?
Panera Bread
Even the dinkiest libraries have WiFi:
Technology at the Library

Not to even mention doing it on a cellular network will take forever. And then you will probably want to stay in once place because switching towers could screw it up.
;)
(Actually there used to be a way...I thought)

Staying in one place isn't a problem since it's my only source for internet access at home. And data is unlimited also. So it looks like I'll be forced to go somewhere with WiFi to do this. Hopefully it doesn't take long.

Was the Nougat update stopped? I've stopped somewhere with WiFi and checked for updates and it's says my device is up to date but I'm still on 6.0.

It doesn't work. Don't update if you need hotspot.

I doubt it. Just keep trying. Your hasn't been triggered.

It was already triggered. I got the notification but could not download because there was no WiFi.

Then I'm finally able to get somewhere with WiFi and check for updates and it says no updates available.

I have a Moto z play have not updated to nouget yet
True, not all Z Play phones have it yet. It's rolling out by region to the Z Play, so some folks do have Nougat already with that phone. And some are complaining and asking how to go back to Marshmallow...So there's always that side of the coin also.

So is it a big deal to update and if I want to can I go back to old system

6.0. anything is Marshmallow. 7.0. anything is Nougat. And you can't roll back to the previous version once you update (at least not through normal methods). I guess the point I am trying to make is....Be patient. It will roll out to your phone when it's ready. A new OS doesn't make the phone any better than it is now, it just adds new functionality. When it's ready for your phone model, you will get it. Until then, enjoy your phone as it is now.

I did the update while traveling I-80 over the Sierra Pass in a winter storm with chain requirements. Took almost an hour and a half but got er done before I got to Sacramento. Just sayin...it can be done on cellular network. No 4G the entire way.

That's what I'm talking about. Excellent!
