maybe if not for the fact that i have spoken to Miami and no one else has today (not speaking about admins) by CK obviously didnt because Miami is still painting a very clear picture, i dont blame whoever has lost faith its been a jerky ride but it is what it is..

Maybe I'm being ridiculous, but it seems like theres still a chance that there will be a 3g version this year. We have miami and blackmanx, and several people who have talked to verizon reps who have confirmed the 3g device/ encouraged rumors. There's certainly SOME evidence to the contrary, but not enough in my opinion to make the positive stuff just untrue. It's definitely weird that there would be no leaked pics or other 1 day prior to possible pre-order, but at the same time, we have more than just miami confirming it. I'm hopeful that we'll see it tomorrow, but won't be very surprised if we're waiting awhile. All I'm saying is that it's not like the little negetive info makes all the positive false

Yea, I truly wish there will be a 3G version, but I'm not seeing it. Actually, this was Black_Man_X who leaked this picture, just to prove to everyone that their is only the 4G device. Matter of fact, hes currently testing it.
Miami was brought up to date. The HTC Merge and Mecha were most likely going to hit as 3G phones, but seems VZW decided they might as well wait and promote what they have now.

1) Black Man x was one of those confirming that there would be 2 devices, and I don't see that these new photos change that. It certainly shows the existence of an lte device in testing, but that doesn't mean theres no 3g already done
2) Have you been in contact with Miami? Because I haven't seen anything suggesting that he's been "brought up to date," and now is going back on what he already said

Guys this phone isn't happening anytime soon. We have been taken along for a month long ride by Miami and speculation. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck then its probably a duck. Never has a phone gone this close to the so called pre-order day and release date without something concrete leaking or marketing. I could have bought a Dinc or X on craigslist or upgraded a month ago. I'm watching a VZW Christmas commercial right now and they are pushing that Continum crap and the Tabs very hard for the holidays. There is nothing else coming. VZW is going to ride their current lineup through next year. Now I need to decide If I am going to continue my relationship with VZW. I refuse to lock myself into a contract with their current lineup, and do not want to deal with this BB Tour any longer. I really hope I can eat these words tomorrow, but I doubt I will.

all i have to say is so far i have seen nothing to dis prove what i have been told by Miami yesterday and today..

I didnt say this earlier and still dont want to because its just words as far as most are concerned but i actually spoke to a corporate rep who confirmed everything as far as pre order date being tomorrow and release on 23rd and SURPRISE he gave that to me i didnt suggest it to him..

i dont expect anyone to believe me which is why i havent said it thus far but take it for what its worth.. not impossible for him and myself to be wrong but like i said so far no one has said anything to prove this 3G phone isnt coming..

thank god this will all be settled tomorrow cause its seriously getting old lol

Thanks Viper. I'm still holding strong, hoping for an update from Miami though. I'm getting a phone in the next month, or it will screw up my annual Xmas season upgrade. And quite frankly, all the other phones are outdated or crap, so I am really hoping for this phone to drop.

Black_Man_X is an engineer and test the devices, like this one right now. Hes pretty much confirmed that thats it. You can ask him if you'd like, this is all we're getting when it comes to this device.
I haven't bother contacting Miami, and I probably could but hes most likely busy and wouldn't answer me considering I don't really contact. Viper claims to have contacted, I'm not sure about that. If he has, I guess things would be a little confusing.
