HTC Incredible UPDATE

i sure hope there is a solid black version of this...anyone heard?

The photos I've been seeing shows it with a black front and rubberized back in black

Yup, last I understood was that the phone would be all black. The interior when you open the back is supposed to be red. Might be a couple small red access points on the outside of the phone, but think that went away, too.

Either way, I'm dying for this phone to come out. Definitely going to be my entry into the Android phones. God I hope this makes it out in the next week.

From what i've seen, around the camera will still be red but for the most part the phone will be black.

I also just sold my Droid on ebay for $340.00. Once the Incredible is release the price for the Droid is going to drop a bunch. Now I'm using a Blackberry till I can get my hands on the Incredible.

Thanks Dan, relaly hoping all of this news means its right at release. The Sense interface is that last thing I was waiting for. Makes the phone feel a little more "polished" to me since I don't have the time and patience to hack like I used to. Would rather be able to dig into the phone itself and just download apps. This thing looks beautiful to me. I've been checking the news feeds two to three times a day online for some new news.

Nope, HTC Desire is an entirely different phone. Specs are very similar but looks like the Incredible is another step up. For example, Desire is 5mp camera, Incredible is 8mp. Desire has been out a little bit. Also different button layouts and appearance.
