HTC One Stops by FCC on Way to Verizon; Likely Coming Late This Summer

I agree the One is an amazing phone but I totally agree with Cybertec.
It's well built. Super fast. Pretty. Great screen. Zero lag. Sound is amazing....
but as Cybertec said, HTC is HORRID with Updates. It's sickening how bad they are.
Still waiting on the HTC update for the old Droid Incredible 2 that was promised almost a year ago. That was and will be my last HTC phone. I used to be a big HTC guy. Talked them up to everyone.
Even looked at the Dinc4g because the size is still so nice. Has HTC upgraded that not very old phone yet? NOPE! Still on ICS.
DONE with HTC.
Also agree I won't buy a phone without a slot. Battery, eh. Not a big deal to me.

Well I have been waiting for this phone for a long time. But I had to go to GS4 on VZW since my original Nexus was getting slow.. I wish I knew this phone was coming to VZW back in June I would have waited patiently. Since I got the phone in June 1st from Costco and I have about 60 days left for it to come to Verizon.. Here is a good review for ONE:

Make sure you check with the kiosk you purchased the phone at because every kiosk works with the Costco return policy different. In the case of my kiosk, the 90 day return is ONLY for the exact same device. Plus, there is no guarantee we are getting the One. :-)

The One is an excellent piece of hardware. It is the best Android handset on the market right now (in my opinion and a lot of others as well)

Having choices is great. : )

I've seen you post that you really like that phone, and I know a lot of others do too, but I can't for the life of me understand why. No offense intended and I've really tried to let it grow on me, but I just don't get it. I've read a lot of your posts and I know you're a thoughtful person so when you make comments like the one above I have to ask myself "What am I missing?" When compared to the the S4, the One is ugly, smaller battery, smaller screen, no SD card... what can possibly make this the best handset on the market?

Oh, and the buttons are in the wrong place.
: )

I've got a Razr, so not having a removable battery is not an issue. I never take my sd card out of my phone, so 32gigs is plenty (which my Maxx HD already has. I listen to music while I'm getting ready for work in the morning, so the front speakers and Beats audio are perfect. The only issue I could have would be the battery. I'm simply spoiled by the Maxx. I love the build quality of the One, and would choose it simply for that alone. Plus, signal quality for HTC is higher than Samsung.
