The HTC One X9 must not be too far away from release. A slew of new pics, a video and the internal hardware specs have all been leaked for the device. The images show a pretty good looking device, which is not too surprising. HTC has always been good at making an aesthetic attractive smartphone.

You can check out all the images in the thread below. We couldn't include the video because it is a format we won't embed for security reasons, but you can see it at the source link. Here are the specs that are supposedly "known" for the device right now:
  • 5.5-inch 1080p display
  • Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) - with eight little Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and a PowerVR G6200 GPU
  • 2GB or 3GB of RAM (2 models will be available)
  • 3,000mAh battery
  • 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card
  • 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization - supports RAW format image files
  • 5 megapixel camera
  • HTC’s dual BoomSound speakers
Current industry speculation is that this device will sell for about 2000 Yuan ($308) in China. Once we get more intel we will share it ASAP. Don't forget to drop by our dedicated section on the HTC One X9 for further discussion: HTC One X9 | Android Forum at DroidForums.net

I think it looks great, on the outside at least...

I REALLY like it! Except for that battery.... I wonder why they are so hung up on small batteries? I think they could take back a good part of the market by including larger than average batteries

They're more concerned about keeping their phones as slim as possible it seems. I'm surprised the battery on this is not under 3000mAh. Come on HTC!

I really wish I could get off the S Pen features... I would be REALLY tempted to try this... I would even be good if it just had a stylus that snapped into it or a case that offered a good "sharp" point stylus. The only real thing I use the S Pen for is highlighting text and screen writing...
