HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

My new every two is 7/10/11. I am allowed to upgrade today. The pricing it is giving me is $199.99 for two-year contract. I thought I had to wait until July to get a discount off of 2-year pricing. Is there some kind of extra promotion going on right now for upgrading to the thunderbolt early?

Nothing special. U got an annual upgrade on your current 2year. My upgrade is August but getting TB in 2 hrs. U get subsidized price now. If u wait u get NE2 credit or just subsidized if u don't wait.

Yeah, but I thought I would be getting the $249.99 price right now because all other droid phone prices are the same price. They do not have an extra $50 off like the thunderbolt does. All phones, except the thunderbolt, are showing up as the same price in My Verizon compared to when I browse the verizon site when not logged into my account.

The reason I'm asking is because my wife's upgrade is on 3/25/11. I was thinking of upgrading today on my line and giving it to her and using her upgrade for the bionic later. I think my NE2 has been a $50 credit in the past rather than a $100 credit. So I would not see a point in waiting the extra week to get her the thunderbolt. So if this extra $50 off is showing up for others with an annual upgrade, I would like to know because it may disappear soon.

How much are the 4G LTE Phone Data plans? I thought the current $30 plan I have now would not apply to 4G.

Meh, radio will be there, no reason to take that out. I've found pack-in earbuds to be generally craptastic, so no big loss if they aren't in the box.
