HTC Thunderbolt Spec Descrepencies

Wow I can't believe how many people don't know the difference between ram and storage.

Me either. As for Skifta I've used it on my Droid and it worked great so it'll probably perform at least just as well on the TB.

I just tried out Skifta it plays music fine but no go on videos. So far I think Twonky Mobile works the best since it has playlist support, but videos don't work on that one either. At least for me they didn't work.

Install playon. It supports streaming all your media, and while the majority of the functionality (hulu, netflix, etc) requires a subscription, streaming your own media does not.

It will play any video file you can throw at it. It will take a few minutes to set up, but it's well worth it.

720x480 isn't even an option for camera resolution. What do the image properties report?

Will you email me a few taken at different resolutions?

And why would you only take 1 meg pictures anyways?

They said the memory issue is one they are aware of and will be working on it with a future update of the software. They said the device does have 8gb of memory internal built into it, so the reason why we can't access it all is software related.
And if you think about it, the Incredible has 8gb internal memory as well and you can see ~6.5gb after all the OS related stuff is accounted for.
I find it incredibly hard to believe that this phone - long delayed - was released with such a huge "error." I'm wondering whether this is indeed the real story. Perhaps they can also send out to customers the missing part of the 1900 mAh battery that should be in there at the same time they provide the rest of the internal storage.

I'm starting to think they might have done it on purpose too. Maybe to prevent easier rooting?
