I blame it all on Iphone...can't be my droid!!

bike_guy try using the regular bluetooth with your phone again and not the software you installed. Pair them up again. Once they are paired, go to the Bluetooth Settings in your phone. Below, you will see the device you are paired with but not connected to. Tap on it and see what happens. It should connect if you tap on it.

That's exactly what I thought it should do but it doesn't nothing. A long press only yields the option to unpair.
