I'll be going android next month. At present I'm using the Omnia i910.
Are all the apps that I have bought for my Omnia going to be garbage???. Such as SPB software.

Garbage? Yes...if you mean can you use them on your android device to which the answer is no. But have no fear, you will likely find very close equivalents on the market, many of which for free. :)

Don't ever be sorry for asking a question that you don't know the answer to : )

Thats why these and other forums exists.

Like iron said, No you will not be able to use those apps you bought for the Omnia.

Hopefully you didn't spend too much money on your apps. Would be a drag to lose them.

I'm guessing that is your biggest concern?

Trust me, you will forget all about your Omnia and the apps once you get your Droid, I did. To me, Android blows Winmo away.

To the O.P. - I remember when I went from 8 Track to cassette it was tough because I had so much money tied up in those big tapes. Then along came CD's, and I had a lot of money tied up in cassettes, but there was no looking back, I had to upgrade and each time it was worth it overall. Sure, you paid for apps on the Omnia, I paid for apps on my BB Storm last year too, and I've also purchased a couple of Android applications from the Market, and some day I'll be using a different device with a different O.S., but I won't be making that as the decision maker if I get a different phone. I guess my point is, there are times in life where you'll have to give up monetary investments you have made for something that is going to be better in the long run.

Hit up the developers of the Apps you have to see if they have android compatible apps, or if they know of someone who might have that for you.

I'm sure that you can find what you need once you come over. :)
