I Have Now Received Two New Defective DroidX Cell Phones From Verizon

If i order a verizon phone from the website, i'm not able to get service at a verizon store. At a verizon store i believe you get 30 days warranty with that store and if they see a problem they'll replace it in no time. Except right now its hard but when its availble i'm getting a droid x from verizon store. So if its defective i simply go back to the store either they fix it or they replace it same moment i'm there.

My 2 cent next time if you get another phone.

Ordering Online and taking the device to a corp store for a problem is no different than buying the device from the corp store.

You are so right. I went to V store and all they did was order me one to be delivered to my home but they have been very good on a couple things I needed help with when I went back after receiving it. NO one asked me where I got it from.

Well now i know where to take the droid x if it breaks down. For sure i'm not taking it to that lady. I think i'm better off ordering online because the rebate part and theres support here in clovis ca if i have any problem. Ordering online no need to worry about rebate. dancedroid

I have a similar problem. The first unit had a camera problem and I ended up returning it. I later found that it could have been fixed with software. The replacement unit I received was a NEW unit. After about a month of use, The power key stopped responding. I tried restoring to factory settings and it did not help either. SO I called verizon wireless yesterday to get the problem resolved.

Well they told me that they would send me a replacement unit was would essentially be a refurbished unit since my 30 day period was over. When I asked him about, how did they have replacement units already and wether they had seen a lot of units come back. The support specialist told me that these units are not technically refurbished as they are shipped directly from the factory. The difference is that these are spare units with minimum accessories. They doe not come in the original packaging and do not have any battery, battery cover etc.

SO not sure if I am actually getting a new unit or if it is a unit was returned and repaired.
