You can use a small flat blade screwdriver on them but you don't have to take them out just carefully put the wires on each terminal with something to hold them down. Then plug in the charger. Assuming you don't mind scrapping a usb cable.
 
i thought abt that but didnt think it be a good conductor...but il give it a shot friday

Either way, the screw is the conductor. Just try to get as much of the wires on it as possible and maybe leave it on for a little longer - like around an hour and a half. Better to undercharge and have to do it again than to fry the battery. :)
