I touched one.

Multiple issues? Name one other than volume bug and "1 second lag rotation".

Ones already been resolved, the other will follow suit.

Please go cry somewhere else, we know when something is a non-issue.

Name one other one? Please, this phone isn't even out yet. We know these devices all have problems. The companies push these things out because, sadly, people like you are accepting of problems. 1 second? You haven't been watching the videos.

Your desire to have the latest and greatest is clouding the reality that this device might be a gigantic flop.

This thing is going to be so open sourced that It will probably be able to switch from horizontal to vertical without lag just using your thoughts.

Please, troll elsewhere.

Whatever. Cool the emotions and the defensiveness as if you invented the device.

I'm hoping this thing is great because I'm tired of my OG. However, I'm taking a logical approach instead of a fanboi one like yourself.

It's a new operating system, it's not going to be perfect. I write software, it's a never ending project, where you constantly have to adjust things to reach perfection.

You expect something to be perfect upon delivery, but nothing is. I'm just pointing out the flaws of your argument, I'm not a fanboi of anything, least of all Samsung or Google.

Seriously....This is a basic feature that shouldn't have an issue. The fact this simple feature that has been in phones since the first iphone, it is only a window, in addition to the recent delay due to volume, to the numerous problems this device will have or already has.

This isn't a new fangled feature, this is basic. Sadly Samsung's beta testing team is clearly deficient.

It could be because the nexus in the video needed to have the accelerometer calibrated.. my droid x did that out of the box.. you just need to go to settings to calibrate the accelerometer.. ive seen a few videos where this was an issue but many other videos seemed to rotate with no lag/issue

I hate portrait mode...can't type in it. Browse. The screen is so tight together and elongated. If the acceleremator is horrible that wouldn't be cool. GPS is important also to me.

This phone to me so far looks great.

Curious as to why the placard says "Samsung Experience" phone rather than Google Experience? I know it's in a Samsung Store but why is it described that way. Maybe I'm way off base here but "Samsung Experience" is a little odd description for a Google Experience phone. Perhaps it's nothing...............

I think it's awesome that one guy has something bad to say about your beloved nexus and you guys beat him up and call him a troll..he is the only one out of all you that has actually touched the thing....

Sent from my DROID RAZR using DroidForums

The one we are beating up on hasn't touched it. I have:icon_ lala:

@Pilot25

If Vanilla ICS has a 1 second lag now how do you expect any other device to fair once they theme ICS with Sense or Blur? This can even probably be remidied by a tweak in a ROM that will be made available until it is complained about enough and Google remedies it.

This phone will be a better experience because of the comunity. I admit, I had the OG and got a D2G replacement and man was I bummemed out with the scene. The only thing that makes the phone bearable is the 2.3 update that moto sent out. I really like the 2.3 they put together including BLUR. Maybe you wont need to theme as much as the OG, maybe you wont need to overclock like the OG, maybe you dont even need different kernel installed. But as far as the ability to customize like you were able to with the OG it will most likely be the GNEX that has that kind of ability/support. Its that support that will make this device the most bug free device. WE control the phone based on what WE think is an issue.

If any DEVS are reading please pay attention the the horz/vert transitions. Oh and that stupid button that is all over depending on what app your in. That has got to be straightened out.

I wouldn't call it beating up either, we pointed out that it is hardly "deal-breaking" considering it's such a simple software adjustment.
