After a full day, I am having no issues with the update. I was worried about battery life based on preliminary reports, but my battery life has actually been pretty good. At least as good as with GB, and maybe better. I will know more as I get into my normal work week routine.

Neighbor was tester and circle with pattern dot security was in soak test. When I got the update, option wasn't available. He swears it was.

There is a new widget called "power settings" that has wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, background sync, and screen brightness toggles. To access airplane mode hold the power button down and there's a toggle for that. Also there is now a dedicated vibrate mode!!! Woohoo!

Actually, it was on the RAZR before. I know because I've used it since I first got the MAXX.

And as ndtaylor77 said, it's the same power control widget that Motorola has been using on their phones for a good while now. It's definitely been on the RAZR since launch. You're right that there were individual toggle widgets as well, but the power control widget was there too.

I have also been using the power control widget since I bought my Razr Maxx. I also had it on my LG Ally.

I can't get the screencap to work on my Maxx. I read somewhere that it was a simultaneous power + down volume but I can't get that to work. Am I way off base here?

The phone has always had both. All Motorola phones have.

It was on it, it just also had the individual toggles. I think it's built into Android. It's been on every device I've ever had

So i just did a fdr. And this da*n **** still failed! Wth? This is upsetting me. I was rooted a month and half ago and than unrooted. And.now i want this update and cant update it! Is is.major BS. HELP PLEASE SUMOME

Your probably going to have to use matts utility 1.7 to flash back to stock .181 then upgrade
