Not according to Schiller. He said, "That's normal." Which is just a cold and dick-ish thing to say...but that's the way Apple operates. Always has been.I'd be pissed off to fork over that kind of cash and to get my phone all dinged up. Maybe its a bad batch.
Yeah, it's not even the best smart phone out there...nor is it on sale at some ridiculously low price, like on Black Friday or something. Those folks just line up like brainless cattle to buy the next Apple product. I know that's an overused phrase when talking about fanboys, but, damnit, it's a ridiculously accurate phrase. How else would you describe that many folks lining up in those long of lines to buy an inferior product?? Apple lives by P.T. Barnum's motto, "There's a sucker born every minute." And that's 100% true with iPhone fanatics. The Robot Cow said:Yea i don't get the apple fanatics either. There was some guy waiting at one of the new york apple stores for a week just for the phone. I mean i wouldn't mind a midnight realease(since i go to those for a couple video games) but waiting for a whole week now that just a bit on the crazy side
If the iPhone where the only smart phone out there, it would be a great phone. The problem is, it's not the only phone out there... there are many phones out there far better. We know this, because we use those phones. But you can't tell that to any iPhone fanatic (I've tried). They like the iPhone and aren't going to let facts & common sense sway their opinion.
Some of my friends who own iPhones, would like to switch to Android, but they are too entrenched in the Apple ecosystem (iMac, iCloud, iTunes, etc.) and they feel it would just be easier to get the new iPhone than to switch everything over. They are essentially in iPrison.
I'll say this about the iPhone. Except for Apple Maps, what it does, it does very well. The problem is, it doesn't do a lot.
