I'm going to get an iPhone 5

I'd be pissed off to fork over that kind of cash and to get my phone all dinged up. Maybe its a bad batch.
Not according to Schiller. He said, "That's normal." Which is just a cold and dick-ish thing to say...but that's the way Apple operates. Always has been.

Yea i don't get the apple fanatics either. There was some guy waiting at one of the new york apple stores for a week just for the phone. I mean i wouldn't mind a midnight realease(since i go to those for a couple video games) but waiting for a whole week now that just a bit on the crazy side
Yeah, it's not even the best smart phone out there...nor is it on sale at some ridiculously low price, like on Black Friday or something. Those folks just line up like brainless cattle to buy the next Apple product. I know that's an overused phrase when talking about fanboys, but, damnit, it's a ridiculously accurate phrase. How else would you describe that many folks lining up in those long of lines to buy an inferior product?? Apple lives by P.T. Barnum's motto, "There's a sucker born every minute." And that's 100% true with iPhone fanatics.

If the iPhone where the only smart phone out there, it would be a great phone. The problem is, it's not the only phone out there... there are many phones out there far better. We know this, because we use those phones. But you can't tell that to any iPhone fanatic (I've tried). They like the iPhone and aren't going to let facts & common sense sway their opinion.

Some of my friends who own iPhones, would like to switch to Android, but they are too entrenched in the Apple ecosystem (iMac, iCloud, iTunes, etc.) and they feel it would just be easier to get the new iPhone than to switch everything over. They are essentially in iPrison.

I'll say this about the iPhone. Except for Apple Maps, what it does, it does very well. The problem is, it doesn't do a lot.

Here is an article on how Steve Jobs, at the last moment before mass production started on the original iPhone, gathered his team together and showed him lots of scratches on the screen of his iPhone prototype he had been carrying in his pocket. He was furious and wanted a scratch resistant glass screen instead of plastic.
Steve Jobs' desire for scratch-resistant glass is why the Apple iPhone is not Made in America

Hmmm, I guess lack of quality control is now "Normal" at Apple.

I literally can't decide.

Does anyone know what is the next rumored Samsung?

Same here, that's why i'm waiting to see if i like the nokia lumina 920. I just want to try out a new os.
Don't get me wrong i still love android but i just want to give something else a shot.

So far its rumored that lg, sony and samsung are making the next nexus devices.
I know my gnex is running aokp jb build 3. Everything is pretty damn smooth so far. Just hate how quickly my battery dies lol

Oh yea i forgot about Htc. Its suppose to be the Nexus 5. 5'' 1080p screen, quad core, 64gb storage
Rumor: HTC Creating the Nexus 5, a Variant of Its 1080p Phone – Droid Life

I don't buy this one for a minute. Unlikely that Google makes a Nexus Phablet and they don't typically put top of the line hardware into a Nexus. This phone looks too beast spec-wise imo. Let alone that it's supposed to launch with 4.1.2 Jellybean. Google launches Nexus devices with a brand new OS.

Well it is just a rumor for now. I would like to have a motorola nexus possibly with an intel processor. But i'm also interested on Sony's, Lg's take on the nexus. I felt like those 2 have been the underdogs in the android world.
