im new to the Droid and searched to no avail..... why does my 'slide to unlock' screen go side to side as opposed to semi-circular? i dont have anyone to compare it to other than youtube videos.

They changed the unlock screen with the last update to 2.0.1

If you want theres an app in the market (both paid and free) called LockBot that allows you to choose a number of different lock screens. You can choose the circular lock screen, an iPhone clone lock screen, and numerous other user created lock screens (the user created ones are only available with the paid version). The app makes the screen customizable so you can move text and time around and change time formats and such etc. Give it a try, i use and love it!
