In-Pocket detection not working

Mine worked like twice when I first got the phone. I have never been able to get it to work since then and I mess with it every now and then just to check. Does absolutely nothing anymore. Good thing Moto and VZW are so hell bent on keeping developers from doing anything on the phone.
