Incredible 2 Battery Life?

i won't be recharging just yet but thought i'd post.
14 hours off the charger, sitting at 58% with a bit over an hour of display on time.
haven't done much on my phone today, just decent amount of texting and emailing and about half hour of phone calls.

Sounds like your battery consumption is very similar to mine. In my last post basically my main usage was an hour of voice and an hour of display time for various tasks, and I ended the day with slightly less juice than you.

yeah.. but i'd say that's pretty good. this means i will never have a problem getting through a full day. which is all i need. my battery has gotten a lot better, before i'd be down to about 30-40% by this point.

Going on 39+ hours with 1:45 minutes of talk time and frequent data usage/texting.

Assuming you mean 1 hour and 45 minutes, I don't understand how that is even possible unless you are understating the data usage, are mostly on Wifi, and have auto-sync and GPS disabled, and even still, I'm not even sure that would net you 39+ hours. My battery burns through about 25% for every hour of voice usage and 15% for every hour that the display is lit up for data usage.

I definitely want to get more feedback in this thread to see what truly is the norm for battery consumption. If the battery consumption you are getting is supposed to be normal, then I am returning my phone.

I really don't understand how you guys are getting such **Incredible** battery life. I'm at 14 hours, 15 minutes since I unplugged and only 13% left.

Unfortunately I was going to post my full usage stats but I forgot and plugged it in. I'll post them tomorrow.

when I first got it and charged it, it lasted almost 22 hrs. And that was because the last 20% I ran Pandora and kept it going until it died. Didn't want it to die in the car on the way home, so I ran it down so it be charged before I went home at work.

Its been 12 hours and I'm at 80%

Well I'd say it's all fine and dandy to make posts boasting about your battery life, but would you care to clue the rest of us in as to how you achieved this?

+1. Battery life and hours since unplugged are not enough information. We need to know what your actual usage is (ex. how long your display was on, how many hours of voice) and what your settings are (ex. screen brightness, autosync on/off). 20+ hours of battery life isn't that impressive unless your usage and settings are demanding. I could idle my phone and get 20+ hours of life, but there is no way I get that much time from one charge if I am heavily using my phone.

So far:

1H, 28M since unplugged.
87% life left

Display 71% (= 23M, 5Sec; Display brightness setting is 20%)
Words Free 11% (Data sent 167KB, rec'd 509KB)
Cell Standby 6%
Android System 4%
Phone idle 4%
Android OS 2%
Internet 2%

I will update as I go today.

Ya what the heck.. my battery life is already at 71 percent and it has only been 46 min since unplugged! This is ridiculous.

No WiFi or Gps has been on. And the phone itself has been unlocked for only 20 minutes. Thats more than a percent a minute.!

This has been mentioned before - but in case someone missed it - be sure your call network is set to CDMA and not global. You should also either remove the SIM card or turn it over. This seems to make a big difference in battery life.

Also, if you don't mind a little bulk, there is a 3600ma battery with cover on ebay for the DI2. I know, some might say stay away from those, but I have one and it has been great. Battery meter recognizes it and everything. It gives you a huge increase in time between charges
