Incredible 2 randomly deleting pics?

I love this phone, overall, but twice now, my pics have been wiped from my SD card without any action by me. Is this a known issue?

I lost a few of mine, but when I did restart of phone and apps my pictures showed back up.

I just installed Gingerbread, and the pics are back. Hopefully, the update included a fix for that.

There was an issue with Froyo and the stock Gallery that pics would randomly disappear. They weren't actually gone from the card though. Not sure if GB fixed it. Not sure if it's the same issue, but figured I'd mention it.

i have noticed that the few pics i took with camera apps don't show up a lot of the time. i get a little error icon, but then sometimes they're back
