Incredible or Droid X

Hello Everyone! I've been on these forums for a while now but just recently made an account.
I'm finally up for a new phone and have had my heart set on an android device for 2 years now. I used to be a keyboard only guy but have gotten over it and I'm looking for a slate design. Should I go for the Droid X or the Incredible? I don't think the X is too big and I do enjoy the design on the Incredible. Any deal breakers or anything that would try to sway me to one device or the other?

I'm a new Dx user, and my friend got the Droid Incredible a few days after me. While showing my less tech savvy friend how to use his new Inc I was a bit peeved because I noticed his would be noticeably more snappy than my Dx. Apps would start up a tiny bit faster, both using the 3g network youtube videos would pop up on his phone a bit faster, so on and so forth. That being said, when hanging out at night, he's usually complaining about his battery is almost dead while I would have at least 40%.

Note this isn't a generalization of all Inc's and X's just my experience playing with a couple stock phones side by side. I personally wanted the X since it came out as I have giant freak hands and wanted a phone to accommodate them. That being said, if someone gave me an Inc before I got the X I would most likely be very content with that.
