Incredible rollout still on track for beginning this weekend

The rollout has begun per VZW this morning. this will be a slow roll out like always. Expect x amounmt of users to get it then more on Sunday and so on. I expect a limited amount of devices to get it this weekend and certainly the users represent a small amount of users. VZW did not say how or why or where. When you see the system update . Turn off the device and pull the files from your card. We will host it at that point.

Nothing on the vzw wireless support site for Incredible , and the Twitter support site (Verizon ) says they have no info on the froyo rollout for the Incredible.

Just asking for verification , vzw is not publicly doing so. I have inquired on vzw.com and vzw twitter support and they say no. Why would they lie.

if the rollout is supposed to happen this weekend, personally I would go ahead and get rooted and s-off asap so you don't lose the ability to (if you haven't already)... (since the holes are all patched per unrevoked) and who knows when/if they'll find new holes...

amazing that people aren't already running the froyo leaks really... its so dang easy with the tools out there.

They don't lie. They deny. Did you not witness the Droid1 2.1 roll out fiasco? If something hiccups its better not have promised then have irrate android users after you.

They already have irrate Incredible users after them . If you ask a direct question any they say no , it's a lie not a deny.

Small test groups are supposed to start getting the test rollouts after midnight tonight. Then will move to full rollout on the 18th. Not sure how many are included in the small test groups.
