Incredible takes forever to delete texts?

I just went and deleted all of my texts and it took about 5 minutes. Is this normal? I've deleted them before and it took a ridiculous amount of time. Any way to delete them faster?

im gonna say, not normal.. heh... sms txt??? i use handcent but mesg still go to the native app, let me try.

Well I probably had around 1000 txts or more. Weird. The phone works perfectly fine, it's just this!
