Is the built in youtube app worthless?

So, I was just wondering, is it possible to sign in with your youtube account and veiw your videos, and favorites through the built in youtube app? i hate having to do a search for videos every time i wanna see a vid...

no. i think its pretty good. you can sign in and see that stuff
