Is there a way to get new icons on my Pro?

This is probably beyond the scope of the OP's question, but has anybody found a way to replace the battery icon? I'd like something with a percentage in the icon, but haven't found a way to actually replace it. I've tried Metamorph, but it didn't work.

Beautiful Widgets, in the Market, has a number of different battery icons you can download and use in their "Home" theme. Their "home" theme is a 1x4 widget for date/time/weather and battery. There are a multitude of different themes you can download...free.

Pretty sure you need to edit your framework.res to accomplish this.

Yup, that's what I thought too. That's what Metamorph tries to do, but it never seems to work on the Pro, even though my Pro is rooted.

Not interested in more widgets. I have enough clutter on the homepage with the BW clock/weather and the Agenda widget. I'm actually trying to eliminate having to use BattStatt by putting the percentage where the stock battery icon is. Then, I just need to figure out how to get the switch widgets into the notification pull down bar, and I'll be able to cut down to one home screen.

Its possible the framework is different and mm wont work with it.
