Is there an easy way to remove the clock?

Or a tutorial on how to remove the clock from the notification bar? I hate the waste of space because I have a great looking widget on the screen.

Great link^. I will have to look into removing the clock in the near future. Would this mod work with the stock rom? Btw, I just found a nice clock app, it has the date as well. Check out this app everyone: Widgetsoid

I just did it myself. Started to loose my tiny little mind when my boot animation kept looping. Then just as I was about to drop back 10 yards and punt, it came up. no clock. Sweet!

sorry to hear that. i tested it before i posted. i did notice my boot took a little longer than usual. the only other way i saw floating around had to do with an .xml edit (somewhere in services.jar, something about making the clock text black) which is a little beyond my depth

it should, of course you have to at least be rooted as it requires clockwork recovery

I'm on the stock ROM and it didn't seem to work. Looping animation I can deal with but it stuck on the M logo.

Most likely. I believe Fab made it to work in conjunction with the themes for his Apex ROM.
