Chelsea... do me a favor... charge your phone up to 100%.. but let's add a small wrinkle here... go into settings and disable your mobile data, then disconnect it from the charger, and mess with it for about 10 or so minutes. Take another snapshot of the battery info and post it..

This will help to see if it is your signal or a battery issue.

The theory here is that if its your data connection... then it won't happen with data off.. if its your battery, it will happen Anyway.

Yeah its your signal... you have a weak signal and 4g is killing your battery.. mine is 105dbm and I can kill my battery in 6hours.. .

So your options are.. A.use 3g.. I don't like this option, and I won't do it...

B. Depending on what area you're in, call vzw and submit a trouble ticket...

C. You can call vzw, explain what's happening with your device, and see if they'll send a warranty CLNR device... there are people that have gotten devices with excellent battery life, but many others say that CLNR devices are poor quality.. they're SUPPOSED to be like new... supposed to be....

94lt1 ... you think it might be an app? Seeing "Android System" and "Android Core Apps" in her screenie makes me think it could be an app of some sort maybe using battery?

so now, 25-30 minutes in, its down to 90% still have data turned off....

It could be... reboot your phone Chelsea, hold power and volume down.. until the device turns off.. then use it for 20 mins, take another screen shot and post it please

But since it didn't drop after 10 mins of use without data on... that says to me that its using a lot of battery to get to the towers... both of mine do that when I'm at home... but we'll narrow this down..

Are you in an area with a strong 4G signal? Or does it go back and forth from 3G to 4G?
