Issues you've detected on the leaked gingerbread(D2G Gingerbread Problem thread)

OK scratch that my wifi tethering isn't working...I thought it was but I forgot to change my internet settings on my computer. Tried it tonight and Verizon stopped my tethering

if its not Boeing, I'm not going!!! TEAM BOEING SOUTH CAROLINA ROCKS!!!!!!

When trying to install it it all of a sudden stops and gives me a long error message. Below it it says status 7. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I moved the update.zip to the sd card not in any folder is that what the problem is?

Did you SBF first, then root then install the GB leak?

Do you guys have all your bloat intact? That might be what's causing errors. And I mean all of the bloat.

I didn't SBF because she was on stock Froyo with root, never flashed any roms or anything..

I didn't think of defrosting the frozen apps in Titanium? I have the X and I don't remember ever having to do that??

I have a new problem now, I'm at a point of needing to SBF because the SD won't mount so I downloaded the SBF file from MDW but it's not working because I haven't purchased the .RAR software and I'm passed 40 days of the trial...

I defrosted all bloatware and that fixed my problem with not being able to add/edit contacts now

I have to say that after installing the tbh rooted leak I am impressed. Had to freeze a bunch of bloat to get it out of the way, but stock gb is very snappy. Phone now runs as good if not better than any available froyo rom. Other than the battery indicator being green while the others are blue???, it looks nice as well.

That's just how moto chalked it up to be. Annoying, and a bit sloppy if you pay attention to the 3G icon. I did put out a few fixes/modifications to make it look nicer though, namely fixing that annoying icon. I really hate tiny flaws so that's what drove me to making the fix in the first place.

My battery life has seemed to go down ever since I installed the tbh rooted GB I used to get through a day with like 50-60 % left now its around 20 with no change in usage amount

TO THOSE OF YOU WITH CONTACT PROBLEMS: if you're rooted/freezing bloatware, DON'T freez the yahoo authenticator app, for whatever reason, this seems to really mess with the contacts app

FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH THE 7 ERROR WHILE TRYING TO INSTAL: I found that what gave me this error was the fact that I had installed Bootstrap Recovery while running rooted froyo. SBFing your phone will not get rid of this on it's own. you can follow these stops to ensure that Bootstrap Recovery is completely removed from your device:
1. Reroot
2. Get root explorer in the market
3. Uninstall the bootstrap
app

4. Go into root explorer to system/bin
5. In top right corner tap r/w
6. Delete the file called hijack
7. Delete logwrapper
8. Rename logwrapper.bin to just logwrapper
9. Reboot and it should be gone.
After this, you can unroot and instal the leaked unrooted GB (which I did and rooted with one click - worked seamlessly) or try rooting and installing the prerooted GB, but that would involve reinstalling Bootstrap and I never got this method to work..

These may not be your problems, but these are the solutions I found to the same problems you all seem to be having, hope I was of help

Can you send me a link to your fix.
Thanks.
