after reading all the shattered glass stories on here, maybe it's not quite as strong as they say...

I've had it since they day they came out and it's still perfect.

I wonder if that cracked one is still usable without hurting your fingers.

I can say first hand -- no the little shards are sharp, you have to use very very light strokes on the screen to avoid slivers or cuts.
