Droid 2 Squidly 2.3.2.2 mash up theme i threw together....

something isnt mashing on the rom...... i got it to work on my D1 but not on the D2

I run PE.. I can install facebook on it and login with my wifes ing=fo and see what it does then.. gimmie a few.

I too think its rom related

Its looking more like the rom has something to do with this area since its different on many phones. I have it working on both of mine, but both of mine are over black themed rom. So something else needs to be changed in the rom's framework or service.jar to make this work on all phones im guessing.

OK, checked it out on PE.. it's white. if I touch that white area it changes to red. Can someone else test this? I need a test here because I installed my red theme on it so I still don't know if that red is coming from the frame or facebook (i themed facebook red too). What I should also do is insstall a non red facebook on my red themed PE and see what color that is. Then I would know for sure. I am thinking it's one of those images that has different colors for "normal" focused" disabled", etc...

I was thinking that same thing! but the one i posted in #221 has the white background with everything else themed for those who want the black widget and some of the black themed facebook.

least it has the themed widget... LOL

OK, this is coming from somewhere other than Facebook. I installed my pink Facebook on my red theme and it's still white which I expected but, it turns red when I press it.

I have it narrowed down to 8 images in the framework I believe it to be. I will test them out here now. I could be completely wrong but, I won't know until I try.

I edited every white .9.png I could find (has to be a .9.png cause the box stretches). No dice.

Any of you notice thoguh that the 1st post in the notifications is black like it should be while the rest are white? also, if you click on that white box, it takes you to that persons picture page or whatver. Also, you can't actually click on the picture itself, if you do, it highlights the white box, not the picture.

Gives me some ideas at least. Had to write that though so I wouldn't forget what they were...lol

I hope TheBowers has a look at this thread bet he can help us. Or 928 if anyone can talk to him. Since he got sick his sight went down and he disappeared. I hope he is ok, Just hoping he reappears sooner or later so I can update my droid x to latest stock rom, I tried it and ended up back here on the second to last release since its most stable with my theme fully installed, well 928's and Thebowers and my mix theme I did very little myself. On my d1 I only have BBv0.5 since TheBowers's BlackNBold isnt on it Cant loose my favorite theme on the d1. I had it with 928's and bnb like my dx but the phone ran slower not sure why, but with bbv0.5 and bnb my d1 oc'd at 1.1 ulv runs very nice. On my DX the combo runs amazingly fast at 1.2 ULV. I've ran faster but it sometimes crashes but with 1.2 its rock solid all day no matter how much I have going.
