Am I the only one who is extremely disappointed with how the galaxy nexus looks? For being the flagship Google phone I was expecting much better. They need to take some pointers from Sony and Apple.

You are right, everyone definitely has their own opinion and mine is that the GN will be a great phone but aesthetically speaking it isnt exactly eye candy. I know how much everyone wants to believe that this is the god of all phones for 2011 but being that there was so much hype around it and that Google partnered with Samsung to create the device i was just expecting more.

I think it looks really good! Why? There is no logos or anything on the front. Just the screen. Nice and simple.

I don't think marketing on the front of a phone will make it look better, im referring to the overall design. For instance, the samsung galaxy s2 is a great looking phone, the first Incredible was nice, the iphone 4s is a great looking phone, the "droid" phones like the bionic, droid 1, 2 and on are all the same, just keeps getting bigger.

the galaxy nexus is keeping a very similar form factor to it's predecessor, the Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. Not too far off the original Nexus either...

I'm with you dude, I posted this the first time I saw it.
This phone is ugly that's it.
Cheap plastic and just ugly plain and simple but not in a good way like apple does it.

I actually like the design of it. It's simple, but elegant.
For those bashing it for having plastic, I have no problems with it. Makes the phone lighter.
My original Incredible is all plastic.

Agreed on both fronts. I think the phone looks pretty darn good but as you said everyone will be different.

I actually like the design of it. It's simple, but elegant.

The plastic is different then what I am used to (moto). However usually I take that moto phone and wrap it with a tough case. I will be doing the same so as long as the glass it strong I will not even notice.
