Honestly this discussion really can't go anywhere. Everyone is going to have a different view on the look. I think the curved, non-branded phone looks awesome but not everyone will agree.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know its a cliche saying but it is true. For example many people think I am ugly, however, my mommy assures me that I am not and am in fact very handsome

My Droid X is all plastic and crappy build quality. I dont see why all the Moto fanboys keep saying that if its not Moto, build quality sucks and its fugly.

My phone feels like you can separate the 2 halves and the buttons feel like they're about to fall out. Screams great build quality huh?

I love the look of it. No hardware buttons when its off, no logos on it, curved slghtly... looks nice

I don't thinks its ugly, but I did expect to be more "wowed" by the device.

Seems very plain, nothing stands out about the phone.

I do think the phone looks kinda cheap though.

I expected a ferrari and it is more like a camero.

Exterior looks don't make much difference to me, it's all about the hard and software and how sleek it is on the inside - I'm dropping the beast in an otterbox first chance I get

-Edited for hilarity

LMAO! That was hilarious alright.

Anyways, I'm not sure why people think it's ugly. First of all it's a phone, how gorgeous can a phone's exterior look? When I pick a phone it's for reasons that matter, like for instance the internals, the call quality, functionality, speed, battery life, comfort level, ect. These are what I'm attracted to when looking at phones, looks are just a bonus. It's a very elegant looking phone and the curved screen is the sexiest part about it I think... and well, it's a Nexus. Didn't you're mother's every teach you beauty is on the inside... and don't judge a book by it's cover.

I honestly think the front of the Nexus is the nicest design I've ever seen.

The back isn't amazing, but it still looks very good.

All the people coming from an og droid or motorola device be aware most samsung phones have a cheap plastic feel. But samsung makes great quality smartphones they care about the inside motorola has a great case but the insides are cheap every motorola phone i have owned has had a bad headphone jack.I think this phone will feel like the charge.

The GSII doesn't feel cheap to me, it's light, but not cheap.

Plus the Nexus has almost a rubberized feel on the back, so it won't feel like the normal slick plastic from past Samsung devices.
