does anyone know if we can upgrade it ourselves, instead of waiting for the automatic update? Since the last icecream update our batter life is half of what it used to be. also a co-worker is having the same problem.

There's no ota out there yet, so unless you plan on installing a rom... No.

Just $100? I'd like a free RAZR MAXX HD if my RAZR MAXX cannot be upgraded. I'm kind of under contract for two years. Don't updates apply during those two years, as well?
