JRummy's Remix v0.6 - CyanMod 6.0.6.1

not sure why everybody is having issues with the blue theme but ive had it since it first came out and its been working flawlessly for me (minus not having the boot animation which was easy to fix) so great work jrummy :)

I haven't read all the post so sorry ahead of time, but has anyone had a problem with the green rom causing the phone to not read the SD card? I had that happen last night. I had to back up then format the card but found out it was the rom because I went with an older backup and it worked. I un then re rooted but am afraid to try it agian just in case. Any feed back is appreciated.

I just made the jump to v6 blue.
Before I did that I tried the backup function that was offered with v5:

backupapps...

Well my device is restoring now and just before I updated I tool a look at the goodies | backup | app's folder.

There were only 3 apps or files within...

I have a bout 106 apps.

So should I assume that I need to install each and every one again?

OH I did also partition my card and check apps2sd...

Is that the reason maybe?

Thanks

So what do i need to do so my market will open? I didn't wipe anything, just installed the update.zip.

Just want the market to open...

JRummy,

Love your work! Is there anyway possible you could send me a link or point me in the right direction to get the boot animation file that was on the Green 5.0.5.7 theme? It started out in color and then morphed into a cyan "X" with the droid guy in the middle. I LOVED it, but haven't had any luck getting it back. I was just going to re-download the old version and extract it, but the link doesn't work anymore. Any help would be appreciated!

You are running the blue theme? I think that's the only one where I forgot the boot animation.. well and the stock theme but I didn't want to put it there.

This boot animation is driving me crazy w/ the blue theme. I am trying to get the blue theme to boot past the moto logo and for some weird reason when I add the boot animation to the rom it doesn't load past the logo.. I have no idea why. I started from scratch and still the same thing.. I think I might give up and have people switch the boot animation themeselves.

Anyway, here is the boot animation. type su and switchba to apply.

I noticed you discussing bootanimation.
I have one that I have been using for a few weeks now.
Its called Peeing, which is what the android is doing on a apple.

Anyway I tried to install it earlier and it locked up at the dreaded M screen.

The way it used to work for me is UI changed the file name to update.zip placed it on the root of the SDCard and via recovery installed it...

SO it does not work that was with your rom.
Would the described above method:
SU
switchba

Work for me and this bootanimation zip?
Do I just change it to bootanimaiton.zip and place it in the root of the SDcard?

Thanks

I'm also using the apple peeing and it works fine for me. What I did was as follows:

Bootanimation in root of SD
Using Root Explorer
Copy bootanimation.zip and replace bootanimation in system/media
Copy bootanimation.zip and place in local/app
Reboot, then I'm good.

This is the same process I have used for multiple ROMs and it has never failed me.

I even cleared data and cache. Still only one line for multi-line inputs. This is cyan. I tried green and it was fine.

Yes. That's why I've done and it's worked on mine and everyone else's droids. I haven't tried it on anything exception for root explorer. When you go into system/media, it will ask you if you want to replace the existing bootanimation.zip and you just say yes. You should be able to just paste in local/app.

I just found a _big_ issue... It seems multi-line inputs (like gmail compose) are appearing as single line ones that do not grow with thecontent. Yikes.

Weird. It's working for me... anyone else with this issue?

Yep I just checked and I have it too. I am running the Cyan. Only solution is to press enter, but it still doesn't make the text field grow.

EDIT: Actually I was wrong, I can type and it goes as normal, just the white box doesn't get any bigger.

OK but I am not sure you mean to copy the (renamed) Peeing.zip to both locations, or to move (Peeing) into system/media, and the original (Red Eye) into local/app.

Sorry I just want to get this right and avoid getting stuck at the M screen again.

THANKS

I renamed and I was good. So pretty much have 2 bootanimation.zip files.
