To read more on porting go here http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porting . People like android OS better than the webOS. So they will try to port android to the touchpad.

Thanks! You'll have to explain the "digging very deep" part lol. I've never figured out Amazon and how I can find the same product with different reviews and prices, but the exact same part number. I couldn't find them cheaper than $299 for the 16GB, and that was a private seller with one review. Go figure. Thanks again!

found one on amazon for 99, I wonder how long they will stay at this price. I am hesitant to buy now in fear that there may never be a fully working port.
edit: scratch that, bought it anyway, 99 bucks for a nice tab was too good to pass up, didn't want to miss out on the deal.

They have been discontinued, that's why they are so cheap so they will stay at this price till they're gone

yeah, when they run out, which will be soon, you will only be ab able to get them from third party sites selling them for 300 again.
