Just bought HP touchpad for $100

Is it holding out too much hope to think some amazing person in this forum bought like 10,000 of them and will sell them to us members for the same price they bought them for? Is that being overly optimistic?

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.

They may sell cheaper than retail, but not current sale price.

You just need to keep checking hp.com.

They are getting a ton of returns from retailers and will be selling them.

When you try a busy site you need to run either opera or ie. I noticed chrome and firefox gave up where ie and opera were more patient.

Good luck. I got two 32s from hp and one 16 from datavis (ebay).

The fact that these things are sold out tells me two things:

1) HP (and Nokia) are fools for not adopting Android as their OS.

2) All Android tablet manufacturers need to get to the <$200 price point FAST.

Why? These things got to that price range cause they weren't selling and cause webos is dead basically. How would it look for android if they sell tablets for 100 while ipads are going for 700.

It would look like a dying Apple.

Brandon

Perhaps I'm missing something but I believe Apple was the company that perfected the touch tablet and had the first, or one of the first, tablets on the market. Their efforts and success, I believe, were the catalyst for others to jump on the bandwagon. I have an iPad and it worked very very well. I gave it to my son when his computer died. Otherwise, I would still be using it.

I agree that all of the manufactures are overcharging for these devices. Today, one can purchase a laptop with a larger screen for less dollars than the Xoom or iPad 2. Same thing for the new phones. The demand and supply rule is very much alive an well in this market!

Just my opinion!

Aside from the HP TOUCHPADbeing $100, have any of you been to your local BORDERS? They have the XOOM on sale too for 360 from 500
