I had trouble getting 4g while I was out so I was wondering. Any cases fit this monster?

Verizon does carry a case for the extended battery, by no means is a great case but it work. Not sure how many extended battery cases are out there but I know its not many. I had to switch back to my regular battery cause I was missing my Otterbox case too much.

And no, never experienced any difference in reception or anything like that.

Thing is a monster with that extended battery...

Ok, here is what i did, I just picked up the 2700mh battery from verizon, kind of for an experiment, but also for the fact that battery life is needed. I hate the extended battery cases that verizon sells, and there arent any aftermarket ones to speak of.....I really like the defender case and there for am still using the defender case WITH my extended battery. To do this, I had to carefully cut out a spot just big enough for the battery to fit through the back of the original htc back cover of my phone. Then very carefully cut out a place for the battery to fit through the back half of the otterbox defender plastic case. I know, pretty redneck and hillbillyish, but wait!!! im not done yet....lol I cut the holes just big enough that the battery fit tightly through them both. Next, I placed a piece of heavy strapping tape across the back and also across the inside of the back. I did this to ensure that there was still a complete seal with the case, and also it holds the battery from being jarred loose from a drop or anything else. After all that, I put the rubber sleve back onto the defender case and voila!!! I have the extended battery with the otterbox defender case, and you cant even tell. I even did a few test drops onto a wood floor from desk height just make sure that there were no problems, and there werent!... I have pics to show what i did and where I cut if any one is interested.... Good luck!

You know diztronic makes a nice tpu case for the extended battery for the Rezound. Nice cutouts for the plugs and everything else. It's only $12 shipped from there site and they shipped it to me in 2 days. There's also another site called HTCpedia that makes another tpu case for the Rezound but it doesn't cover the extended battery. Just the outside portion of the phone. But it's $19 shipped which is really expensive for a tpu case that doesn't cover the whole phone.

I got the otterbox defender and extended battery and all I do is not use the back plastic cover just the font and the rubber cover and works like a champ!

Yeah, I tried it like that too, but like the ruggedness feel from having the back attached... But right now, its all about what works. All i know, is im loving all the extra battery life and still being able to have it in my defender case..

Do the Verizon stores actually sell extended batteries? I've called 3 and none of them have one
