Just Curious: Imoseyon Patch

I recently stumbled across this website, which indicates that by applying the patch on the website, you will get better battery and overall better performance.

Any ideas on how this optimization works on Liberty? I know he indicates that the improvements are now baked into Apex, are there any plans to include these optimizations in Liberty? How does this compare to the "battery patch"? Can they work together?

I've been running different versions of this mod on liberty 1.5 since the zip for it was posted. I haven't encountered any issues with it. I've been happy with my battery life and speed, that's just my opinion though.

I've been running it since it was posted also, battery life is still terrible for me but better than stock 1.5

I also installed this mod (v4.2). I haven't experienced any issues yet. Regarding battery life, based off my 1 day observation, it appears to add about 5 extra hours of battery life (from 17-22 hours).

However, personally, I think there are so many additional variables when taking battery life into account that it's really hard to gauge. Even when I try to do a controlled test, it's not a true controlled test because it's my everyday phone so the number of phone calls, emails, etc will never be the same.

Lastly, for me, even though it did add 5 hours (remember, this is a 1 day observation) of battery life I still can't go a whole day without putting it on my charger so I'll likely continue to do what I've been doing...Putting it on the charger at night so it's fully charged in the morning.

Will I leave it on my X? Probably, but only because I'm too lazy to restore my backup.

I've been running it for a few days. For me, the effect has been dramatic.

As part of my battery enhancement project, I turned off all auto updating widgets except for my weather update every hour. I am running overclocked to 1.2 ghz with ULV settings. Previously, with those changes, I was getting about 17 hours of usage with the extended battery. Last night, I was at 50% after 15 hours after installing the patch.

It works great with liberty from my experiences.. phone is snappier and I definately noticed a much improved battery life. I would strongly recommend at least giving it a try

I'm running the latest version on liberty 2.0.1 and it works great. Excellent battery life and speed

I've read some people running Liberty GB v0.4 with Imoseyon universal v6.2.1 with great results so it at least functions...

I've been using it for about 3 days on GB. The battery life and speed both seem a little worse. I am going to give it a few more days. It worked great when I was on liberty! I appreciate the developer has great resources on the website, including how to delete it.

I have always had great results with the imoseyon tweaks. I had great results with Liberty GB .3 but with
.4 I am getting freeze ups and had to remove.

What I've found is it installs but doesn't "stick". What I mean is right after flashing the zip if you go to the terminal emulator and do sh /data/imoseyon/checkimosey.sh you get the "everything is good! response. But after a bit of use if you recheck you get "some of the mods are not enabled.... So I'm pretty sure the lag is related to only some but not all tweaks functioning and as you know his tweaks work as a package and if some are missing the other settings may make things worse.
