Just forced the OTA update to my phone.............here's how.

OK. Now what can we wait for and complain about ?

How are you guys doing it exactly...every time you check and it says 1969 you go back erase the data, force stop and check again for update?

Tried this method about 45 minutes ago and it worked. This may have just been a coincidence but I tried it about 15 time while on wifi and 3G (only use 3g most of the time to save battery) but when I enabled LTE and I was connected to 4G it forced the update on the 4th try. Just something to consider if you are trying this method.

Tried it ten times no luck. Was running low on battery so plugged in. Decided to try one last time and it updated. In silicon valley.

Coincidence? Maybe but who cares. Woohoo!

Seem to be a lot of coincidences tonight haha. I'll take it though. Phone definitely seems snappier when in chrome and transitioning through apps since the update. Had the phone since December 27th and had no problems except for the occasional reboot. Hopefully, this fixes that.
